AUSTIN – a 2,200-acre master-planned community is coming to Lake Travis. The project is named Thomas Ranch and is slated to offer homes for rent and sale.
The developers aim to create a new regional hub with a downtown district that includes retail, dining, office, civic spaces, village amenities, lifestyle programming, and more than 40 miles of hike and bike trails.
Additional features include a hotel, a private lakefront community, and a member-only golf course. The project aims to bring approximately 3,500 housing units to the area, including single-family homes, multi-family units, rental apartments, senior living units, and affordable housing.
The signature experience of Thomas Ranch will be the private community. Built along the cliffside and expansive hilltop areas, a world-class resort community will be designed to blend full-service turnkey residential living with luxe amenities reflective of the location and seasons.
The private community will comprise 400+ units and an 18-hole championship golf course by David McLay Kidd that is expected to be among Texas’s most highly-ranked new courses.
Construction begins in 2023. Early residential sales are expected to begin late next year, with sales rolling out in 2024.
