BEE CAVE – The city council has approved the rezoning of 22 acres for the construction of a 340-unit multifamily complex in this city west of Austin.

Developer The Morgan Group plans for the community to span ten buildings with 340 apartment units and 59 attached townhomes.

Three-and-a-half acres will be allocated for scenic trails and two overlooks of the Balcones Canyonland Preserve.

The project is expected to be complete in three to five years.
