MLS source, pricing method & coverage

Source updated Oct 2, 2026, 6:35 PM Central. Counts use eligible public listings matched to the labeled geography. Sale prices use positive asking prices on Active Residential listings; the median is shown with at least three priced listings. These are asking prices, not sold prices, valuations or all homes in the area. Rentals are counted separately; no rent period is assumed.

Under-contract and pending counts describe records currently in this feed. Location errors and omitted coordinates can affect boundary matches. The initial active-listing import is complete. Different areas can overlap; do not add their counts together.

FROM OUR AUSTIN RESEARCH NETWORK

Wooten: a park shaped by its neighbors

Wooten Neighborhood Park’s community history explains how volunteers turned improvement ideas into a pavilion, planting beds and a replacement playscape. The neighborhood association’s own account gives the park a story that extends beyond a point on a map.

Austin Texas Things editorial research · imported . Original source check dates appear below.

A sustained volunteer effort

The neighborhood association dates its park committee to January 2013 and describes recurring work on trees, the walking trail and garden beds. Its account credits a wider network of local partners. [2]

A pavilion built through community support

The association records completion of the pavilion in 2018 after fundraising and partner support. It describes the added picnic tables, shade and connecting sidewalks. [2]

A playground shaped with local input

The park history describes a 2019 playscape replacement involving community members, students and several partner organizations. It is one chapter in a longer improvement effort. [2]

Before you visit

  • Check the current volunteer opportunity

The association describes a continuing park committee and recurring stewardship events. Use its current notices to find the date and work details for a new opportunity. [2]

  • Use the city listing for directions

The city directory lists Wooten Neighborhood Park at 1500 Dale Drive. Check its map link for the destination, especially when older community material uses another nearby address. [1]

A few local questions

When was Wooten Park’s pavilion completed?

The neighborhood association records completion in August 2018, followed by a ribbon-cutting celebration in December that year. [2]

Is the park’s improvement story just a recent project?

No. The association describes work reaching back to 2005, with a formal park committee beginning in 2013 and multiple later improvements. [2]

Counts from the research database behind Zabalist, measured within 0.5 mi (800 m) of the reference point. Each figure names its own window. Filings and reports are not a description of any home, block or resident, and they are never combined into a score.

Radius: within 800 m (0.5 mi) of the neighborhood's reference point (30.3602, -97.7233), which is a map marker and not a boundary. ZIP-scoped layers use inferred postal ZIP 78757, voted from mapped locations around the reference point. Rollup generated Oct 2, 2026.

Sources & sync dates

Rollup generated Oct 2, 2026 from the research database behind Zabalist. Point layers (permits, site plans, registrations, subdivisions, projects, inspections, crashes, 311) are counted within the stated radius of the reference point; TABC licenses and code cases are counted for the attached postal ZIP when one is available, and here that ZIP was inferred from the reference point rather than supplied. 311 counts exclude requests marked duplicate or cancelled; "open" counts requests that are open or in progress. A database sync date is when our copy was refreshed, not when the agency record last changed. Absence of a record is not evidence that nothing happened; reporting delays, missing addresses and later amendments all affect coverage.

Some names identify a phase, section or replat rather than a separate neighborhood.

Each neighborhood is placed by testing its own approximate footprint against a published City, Census or municipal boundary, or by matching the name its listings report. Footprints are estimates assembled from recorded plats and listing locations. This is a browsing relationship. It does not establish shared HOA membership, legal boundaries or services, and county identities stay with each place. Listing counts were recorded on ; open a neighborhood for its current homes.
