MLS source, pricing method & coverage

Source updated Oct 2, 2026, 1:35 PM Central. Counts use eligible public listings matched to the labeled geography. Sale prices use positive asking prices on Active Residential listings; the median is shown with at least three priced listings. These are asking prices, not sold prices, valuations or all homes in the area. Rentals are counted separately; no rent period is assumed.

Under-contract and pending counts describe records currently in this feed. Location errors and omitted coordinates can affect boundary matches. The initial active-listing import is complete. Different areas can overlap; do not add their counts together.

FROM OUR AUSTIN RESEARCH NETWORK

Riverside: choose an entrance to the Lady Bird Lake boardwalk

The Boardwalk offers a distinctive stretch of the Butler Trail along Lady Bird Lake. Its access points and viewing areas make it possible to plan a focused outing without committing to the full loop around the lake.

Austin Texas Things editorial research · imported . Original source check dates appear below.

A boardwalk within a larger trail

The Trail Conservancy identifies the Boardwalk as a roughly 1.3-mile stretch of the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail, used by pedestrians and cyclists. [1]

Several ways onto the route

The conservancy lists entrances at East Bouldin Creek, Blunn Creek on East Riverside Drive, the I-35 frontage-road corner and International Shores on South Lakeshore Boulevard. [1]

Maps for different needs

The conservancy provides standard and accessible trail maps, along with information about amenities and parking. Use the map suited to the trip you want. [2]

Before you visit

  • Choose the entrance before a meetup

Send your group the specific boardwalk access point. The larger Butler Trail loops around the lake, so its general name is not a precise meeting location. [1][2]

  • Use rest areas for a fishing stop

The conservancy says fishing is permitted from Boardwalk rest areas, not along the main trail. Check the current rules before planning that activity. [1]

A few local questions

Do I need to complete the full Butler Trail to visit the Boardwalk?

No. The conservancy lists multiple Boardwalk entrances, allowing a visit to that section without completing the lake loop. [1]

Where can I find accessible route information?

The Trail Conservancy’s Maps & Parking page links an accessible trail map and other route resources. Use those details for your specific access needs. [2]

Sources & sync dates

Rollup generated Oct 2, 2026 from the research database behind Zabalist. Point layers (permits, site plans, registrations, subdivisions, projects, inspections, crashes, 311) are counted within the stated radius of the reference point; TABC licenses and code cases are counted for the attached postal ZIP when one is available, and here that ZIP was inferred from the reference point rather than supplied. 311 counts exclude requests marked duplicate or cancelled; "open" counts requests that are open or in progress. A database sync date is when our copy was refreshed, not when the agency record last changed. Absence of a record is not evidence that nothing happened; reporting delays, missing addresses and later amendments all affect coverage.
